Sustainable Design

We are seeking new members to join the FSEA Sustainable Design Committee (SDC). As the structural engineering industry continues to emphasize sustainability, the SDC plays an important role in promoting environmental responsibility, advocating for appropriate sustainable design standards, and sharing best practices across Florida’s engineering community. The committee also serves as a vital link between the national Sustainable Design Committee and our local chapters, helping to relay key updates, resources, and initiatives throughout the state.

Whether you have experience in sustainable design or are simply eager to learn and contribute, we welcome your involvement. Committee members participate in meetings every two months and help lead efforts to advance sustainable design practices within Florida’s structural engineering profession.
