Title: Advanced Training: The Florida Accessibility Code Ch. 2 Scoping Requirements

Course Description: This advanced, instructor led interactive code training course is designed to provide building code administrators, plans examiners, inspectors, design professionals and contractors with 2.0 hours of building code training, specifically in the area of the Scoping Requirements as contained in Chapter 2 of the 7th Edition (2020) Florida Building Code, Accessibility Volume.

This 2.0 hr. course is designed to improve the participants’ technical skills and their ability to:

  1. Understand the relationship between the Accessibility Code, Federal law and State Statute.
  2. Interpret the Scoping Requirements of the Accessibility Code.
  3. Apply the requirements of the Accessibility Code to specific situations.
  4. Locate specific sections of the Accessibility Code.
