Speaker: Cornelius L. Benton Cornelius is a 3rd generation contractor and is also a Florida Certified Building Contractor with over 25 years of construction experience. Cornelius is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and presents several topics for continuing education programs for many General Contractors, Architects and Engineering firms. His construction background combined with demonstration tools offer the ability to communicate technical issues that directly relate to all associated with construction.
Topic: Post Tensioning Repairs Post Tension repairs are becoming more and more common with the growing trend of Post Tensions concrete and aging of existing post tension concrete structures. This course covers common problems with post-tensioned concrete, repair strategies, detailing and construction defects, new penetrations and opening, and post tension concrete condition assessment process.
