NCSEA - Steel Curtain Walls

  • 11 Feb 2016
  • 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
  • Webinar
The webinar presents newly developed steel curtain wall systems being used for special applications, providing larger spans and larger lites than conventional aluminum systems. Comparing the two systems, the webinar presents two different steel systems, how they meet specified criteria for air, water, and structural performance. Applications are reviewed, the aesthetic and performance conditions are summarized, as well as the practicality of using these systems as structural steel framing in lieu of conventional practices.

Speaker Chuck Knickerbocker is the curtainwall manager for Technical Glass Products (TGP), a supplier of fire-rated glass and framing systems, along with specialty architectural glazing products. With 30 years of curtain wall experience, Chuck has successfully worked with numerous architects, building owners and subcontractors from development of schematic design through installation.

Webinar registration closes at 11:00 AM Central Time on the day of the webinar.
